A writer is only a writer if she writes.
 
As a writer of articles, stories, and books for both adults and kids, my writing can feel like the light is obstructed. That's when I look for a spark of inspiration. A balloon caught by the wind, a wisp of a cloud, the ebbing and surging of the open sea, or the deep snow on a lone mountain peak.
